Context
The activity of the Nanophotonics team within the Lyon Institute of Nanotechnologies (INL / UMR CNRS 5270 – INSA Lyon) is part of the general framework of wavelength-scale light control and its interaction with matter, making it possible to reveal new physical phenomena that open the way to the development of opto-electronic micro-devices with new functionalities and increased performance.
Description
The proposed topic focusses on the realization and demonstration of polymer-based photonic crystal sensors. This PhD thesis is thus strongly oriented towards experimental work, although the photonic concepts developed within the Nanophotonic group of INL will be greatly explored to design new and efficient kind of sensors.
